How could you resist that grin? Wouldn't it be great to start every day being greeted with a grin like that? Maximus came to us two years ago. He was a stray found on Cty Rt 23 in Tryone. While he appears to be black and white in his pictures, he is actually brindle and white and very, very handsome. He is a big, strapping young guy, about three years old. He is smart as a whip. He loves to perform his repertoire of tricks - sit, down, paw, other paw and BOTH paws! Sometimes he gets so excited he;ll do them all in a sequence and then sit pretty for his treat! He really wants to please his human companions. He would enjoy a home where he gets lots of exercise, and is mentally and physically challenged. He wants nothing more than to be with his human friends . Given his size and strength we would suggest that he be in a home without young children (although he loves them!) but would enjoy older children or a very active adult family where he can go for runs and hikes. Maximus is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations including rabies, DHLPP and kennel cough. He tested negative for heart worm and is on heartworm preventative. Maximus has been treated for fleas and worms and has been microchipped. The adoption fee of $150 includes microchip registration.
